The A-Mute Cup trumpet mute combines the distinctive characteristics of the A-Mute series with a typical cup sound that harmoniously blends warmth and projection. A felt insert can be added or removed as needed to make the sound softer or more open – ideal for different musical styles and playing techniques.
This cup mute is particularly well suited for rotary valve trumpets or piston valve trumpets with a large bell, as its size allows it to fully cover the bell and bring out the characteristic cup sound to its fullest.
