Ein super-leichter, griffiger Straight-Mute mit sehr schönem Klang, top Ansprache und sehr guter Intonation. Durch das geringe Gewicht (Tom Crown 200g vs. A-Mute 129g) wird die linke Hand beim Spielen mit Dämpfer entlastet. Der warme, weiche, nicht zu „zickige“ Klang über alle Oktaven gefällt mir sehr gut, die Ansprache (gerade im tieferen Register) ist im Gegensatz zu anderen Herstellern grandios, sogar das Kontra-B ist voll im Zentrum. Die Intonation bleibt nahezu erhalten, er wird nicht merklich höher. Außerdem greift er sich gut durch die spezielle Form und die Oberfläche, wenns mal schnell gehen muss. Das i-Tüpfelchen ist die Personalisierung z.B. mit Namen. Ich bin absolut überzeugt und habe mir den ganzen Dämfersatz von A-Mute zugelegt.
