With the extendable lower section of the mute, you can lower the intonation slightly when needed. This allows you to adjust the mute more precisely to your instrument and your playing.

Handling is easy as well. Recessed grip areas on all sides provide a secure hold and help when removing the mute. This makes it easy to pull the mute out of the bell.
