Trumpet boiler type R
The “Kesseltyp R” series of mouthpieces are lead mouthpieces. A small number of models are offered, which differ from each other by their nominal diameter. The proportional relationships of all parameters are maintained within the nominal diameter variants. These mouthpieces have a very shallow cup depth, a small throat, and an extended cylindrical bore. The perfectly balanced cup geometry offers a very rapid and direct tone response. The development of this mouthpiece was carried out with particular attention to the cup geometry in coordination with the backbore, and it is characterised by excellent sound projection for lead trumpet.
